Twister

This adapter converts the TS 2068 expansion bus to the ZX Spectrum bus, allowing you to use Spectrum hardware like the DivMMC.

Switchable ZX Spectrum ROM

It includes a switchable ROM boots into ZX Spectrum mode: it does not need OUT 244,3 like a Spectrum cartridge. And you can turn the ROM off for native 2068 mode, so you can use your TS 2068 without removing the twister.

In TS 2068 mode, you can use Timex command cartridges. In one of the photos, you can see the TS running the HOT-Z disassembler/assembler from a command cartridge.

RGB to HDMI video

The twister maps the TS 2068 red, green and blue (RGB) video signals to the special 9-pin connector used by Sega video game consoles (Genesis and later). You can use this video output in both ZX Spectrum and TS 2068 video modes. All photos here show that video display.

When used with a Sega Genesis to HDMI converter (available separately), the twister allows you to connect your Timex/Sinclair 2068 directly to HDMI-compatible devices like LCD monitors and televisions. It also improves the quality of the video signal far beyond what can be done by any other means.

Tested to work with the LEVELHIKE HDMI Cable for Sega Genesis Model 1/2/3, Sega CD, Sega CDX, Sega 32X, Sega Nomad, Original Sega Master System Console. Will work with other brands of Sega Genesis HMDI converters that have a 9-pin midi-DIN connector.
